Dime Package - In obvious passing situations, the Ravens bring in their dime package to match up with multi-receiver sets. Baltimore replaces two LBs with DBs, putting six defensive backs on the field. With the athleticism of Ray Lewis (#52) and Ed Reed (#20), the Ravens make big plays with this alignment.

The End Around - Cincinnati has several offensive weapons who can make big plays. With defenses having to respect the running of Rudi Johnson, they will over-pursue frequently. Running an end around is a great way to slow down the pursuit and also run a successful play.
Cleveland BrownsCleveland Browns  Cleveland Browns
Goal Line Defense - The Browns' goal line defense is a gap control alignment. Cleveland lines up in an eight-man front that includes six down linemen. The six defensive lineman line up in the gaps, come off the ball low on the snap, and try to get under the pads of the offensive lineman to penetrate the line of scrimmage.

Blitzing Two in One Gap - The Steelers like to blitz Strong Safety Troy Polamalu on first downs. They will run this blitz on a run down or a pass down because they are getting two blitzers in the strong side B-Gap, which is a popular gap to run in. When the offense runs play-action against this call, the defense will often sack the QB.
