Run Stance For Nose Tackles, Defensive Tackles, and Defensive Ends
The foot placement used by a defensive lineman varies according to where he lines up and according to the down and distance of the play being run. The closer a defensive lineman is to the offensive center, the more his feet should be parallel, allowing him to move with ease to his right or his left. A defensive lineman who is lined up in front of an offensive tackle may have a slight stagger in his foot placement.
