Rowlett (TX) High School Eagles

The Rowlett High School football team's web site features a lot of pictures of the Eagles' players and coaches. For those of you not familiar with Texas high school football, here's one telling point: the team has 17 coaches on its roster! That's almost as many players as some smaller urban schools may have!

The Eagles site has nice photos of all of the squads (Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman) and has separate pictures of just about all of the coaches, with short bios of each coach. There are also full rosters for all three squads, as well as a results page (though the links to what we expected to be recaps of the games weren't working). It would have been nice to be able to read about some of the team's most-recent contests hopefully those links will be working soon!

There were also photos from two of the Varsity squad games and one of the JV games, which are a nice addition to any team web site. The site also has a "Players of the Week" section, where various superlative performances are called out after each game.

Congrats to the Eagles!

Week 1 Winner:The Scottsboro (AL) Wildcats
